Frank Potenza was a protégé of the late Joe Pass. A recording artist, composer and performer with five solo albums, Mr. Potenza also has extensive freelance recording experience. His current release, In My Dreams, is on Azica Records. He has performed with George Van Eps, Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Pass, Harold Land, Joe Sample, Bud Shank, James Moody, Ronnie Laws, Mose Allison, Red Holloway, Ernie Watts, Jack McDuff, Jimmy Smith and others. As an active member of the International Association of Jazz Educators, he was a featured performer at their 1993, 1995, 1997 and 1999 annual conferences. Mr. Potenza also tours and records with Grammy award-winning pianist Gene Harris' Quartet.
